ICEBERG
The artist presents viewers with an insight into their true selves in this collection of work. The artist encounters that a lot of individuals could connect with the feelings and hardships shown in these paintings since they reflect on real experiences. Due to her introverted personality and shyness, which were a result of an upbringing in a traditional household, the artist felt it challenging to openly express her deepest emotions. The value of keeping one's negative thoughts to oneself developed throughout this cultural upbringing.
According to Sigmund Freud, "The mind is like an iceberg, it floats with one-seventh of its bulk above the water." With these paintings, the artist represents unspoken feelings and ideas by using emotionless, icy icebergs on a blueish and greyish background. The artist's inner strength is as unwavering as a rock, empowering them to survive whatever challenge comes their way, much like the invisible mass beneath the surface of an iceberg.
